Salaries and Benefits Survey

The Salaries and Benefits Survey has been conducted in Tonga on a biennial basis since 2000 by 'Uta'atu & Associates.The resulting reports, "Salaries and Benefits Report - A Survey in the Kingdom of Tonga" are invaluable tools for both employers and employees in the country. They provide much-needed statistical information on the salaries and benefits received by employees in Tonga. Covering now 10 years, these reports also show the evolution of salaries and benefits over time and the impact of social, economic and political factors on remuneration in Tonga, the reports also provide an interesting comparison between private and public sector remunerations.

In 2010, Chamber has accepted the challenge of taking over the Salaries and benefits Survey as part of its effort to produce and provide meaningful statistical data on the business environment in Tonga.The questionnaire will be adapted to the results of the previous survey and to eventual changes in job titles for example, but its layout and the layout of the report will essentially remain the same so as not to disturb the participating organisations and the readers already familiar with the reports.
